CHICAGO, IL — Dr. David Jones of Northwest Eye Associates in Shattuck and Woodward, Oklahoma, received recognition for his continued commitment to professional development at a recent meeting of Cleinman Performance Network.

Dr. Jones — celebrating his fifth year in the Network — demonstrates a dedication to creating a healthy and beneficial work environment, as well as to maintaining a high level of patient care and satisfaction.

As a member of Cleinman Performance Network, a wisdom-sharing group of peer optometrists from across North America, Dr. Jones provides valuable knowledge that highlights and contributes to the best practices in vision care and eye health.

Dr. David Jones received his doctorate in optometry from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2002. Dr. Jones began practicing optometry for Dr. Don Diehl in Enid. He then took a clinical professor position at the NSU Oklahoma College of Optometry, focusing on treatment and management of ocular disease and providing general optometric services. In 2007, Dr. Jones began working at Northwest Eye Associates.

Dr. Jones graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a teaching degree in science and physical education. Before pursuing his doctorate, he taught junior and high school science and coached football, basketball, and track for three years in central Kansas.

Northwest Eye Associates offers comprehensive and pediatric eye examinations, dry eye treatment, orthokeratology (reshaping the eye with rigid gas permeable contact lenses) and management of ocular diseases.
