An experienced executive with more than two decades of leadership in the eye care industry, Tim has a proven ability to empower people, build brands, and make the most of growth opportunities. As Senior VP and Chief Revenue Officer, Tim focuses on connecting our team to improve sales and marketing performance, develop and enhance our products and services, and deliver meaningful value to ensure client success. He loves putting creative and innovative ideas to work and is especially passionate about helping others grow and realize their vision of success.

Pam loves math. In fact, she says her passion in life is numbers: “I love to put numbers to a spreadsheet and then analyze the various outcomes. I love bringing order to a financial statement!” This works out really well, since Pam is Vice President of Finance and Administration at Cleinman Performance Partners. Pam has 30 years of experience in accounting, management, and computer operations.

Meagan joins Team Cleinman as Benchmark Specialist, previously working in our call center. Her willingness to pitch in and take on new challenges makes her a valuable member of the team. She wears many hats and takes on varied challenges for the company, including monitoring the members’ area, handling new member processing and maintaining all benchmarking data. Meagan previously worked in childcare and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration.

Alexandria Johnson

In high school, Alex discovered her love for planning conventions. She cut her event planning teeth working on a nationally-known horror fan convention, SCARE-A-CON. Her hard work continued, and she earned her degree in Communication and Business at the University of Albany. Her father owned radio stations most of her life and it was only fair for Alex’s first leading role to be as a producer for a nationally syndicated radio show. Radio required long hours, chasing people for deliverables, and thinking on her feet while under pressure.

“Until I joined Cleinman Performance Partners, I worked independently. But now I enjoy producing work in a collaborative environment” Her mother taught first grade and Alex loved helping her plan projects and fun activities for her students. As Senior Client Relationship Manager at Cleinman, her role is to work with the Consultants to identify objectives, drive the completion of goals, and to ensure quality service is provided to every member.

As a former 30-year morning radio On-Air Personality and Brand Manager in beautiful Upstate NY, Leslie Parmerter has always loved sharing with the public, valuable community information, with a twist of fun thrown in and she enjoys utilizing her community-building skills at Cleinman Performance Partners. Leslie loves to engage with others in a meaningful way while connecting them to the resources they need to succeed in their practice. She says her favorite job-related activity is utilizing her people-oriented skills to foster a thriving Cleinman Performance Network community. When she’s not working, she loves getting out in nature to garden, walk her dog, and kayak.

James Johnson

James recently returned to the US after receiving his master’s degree from Leiden University in the Netherlands. His ability to connect and understand people helps him excel as a member of our client development team. When he isn’t working with ODs, James is an avid traveler. Striving to see the world through the eyes of others, he loves to explore new places and immerse himself in their culture. “I believe nothing helps you grow more as an individual, than experiencing a new culture.” This ideal leads James’ thirst for knowledge, as he consistently learns and grows.

He enjoys having conversations with ODs as well. “I love engaging in conversations with eyecare professionals who eat, sleep, and breath eyecare. I learn something new from every conversation.” This philosophy helps James being new ideas to the table and truly understand the industry and connect with new and existing Network members.

Mike brings over 25 years of marketing experience to Cleinman Performance Partners as well as experience in Brand and Project Management. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management and an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining Cleinman Performance Partners, he was the Marketing Director for Sidney Federal Credit Union, and Project Manager for MeadWestvaco/ACCO Brands. During his career he has managed multiple timelines & projects, participated in product development, pricing and design. He enjoys the challenge of developing marketing plans and seeing them to completion.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and golden retriever Argo, drawing and his passion for bass fishing.

Ro

Rosemarie Feudi

Associate Director of Production

Rosemarie, “Ro,” brings more than 20 years of print production experience. Before joining Cleinman Performance Partners, Ro oversaw print production of major fragrance companies such as L’Oreal, Estee Lauder and Lancôme. She also produced print items for a travel fulfillment company. She calls Team Cleinman “quite a cast of characters with different skill sets who make a cohesive team, are good at what we do and, for the most part, have fun doing it.” Speaking of fun, one of Ro’s passions is snorkeling in St. Thomas! Beyond that, she hopes to help people in need and instill strong character traits in her children, leaving the world a better place.

Megan McCarthy

Megan holds a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Trinity College and excels in aligning an organization’s quality, financial, and service goals with information technology initiatives. Over the last five years in her capacity as a Transactions Consultant with Cleinman Performance Partners, she has honed her expertise in all aspects of transaction work among optometrists from start to finish including financial analysis, valuations, and contracts. Prior to working at Cleinman Performance Partners, Megan worked as a healthcare IT consultant in New York City during the boom of Electronic Health Records and Meaningful Use. She also gained experience in the Optometric Industry while working as a clinic manager for an independent optometrist.

With more than 20 years of customer service experience coupled with the knowledge of what a client needs and the desire to help people, she is a perfect fit for her role. Beth holds an associate degree in Human Services and is a lifelong learner. She enjoys doing things the old-fashioned way by simply picking up the phone and talking to people. When she’s not working or learning, you can find her spending time with her husband, daughter, and 2 dogs – Karl and Roxy.

 

Douglas Davidson Parry

Douglas joins Cleinman with over 5 years’ experience in financial services and literacy. Through this, he excels at translating numbers into actionable information contributing to client success. His knack for relationship building and sense of humor make him a perfect addition to the transitions team. When Douglas is not working, he can be seen wrangling his plethora of children, exploring the outdoors, or playing music with others.

Timothy Morrison

General Counsel

Tim Morrison is a partner in the Albany, New York law firm of Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP. With more than 90 attorneys, Whiteman has the experience and resources to help resolve almost any legal matter.

Mr. Morrison received his JD from the College of William & Mary School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from Siena College with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Prior to joining Whiteman, Mr. Morrison served as a tax and legal services associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Richmond, Virginia. A member of several state bar associations, he is the former president of the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York, a member of the Board of Directors of the Guilderland Food Pantry and the Thomas Patrick Morrison Foundation, and an avid bass fisherman. Having worked with Cleinman Performance Partners for several years, he speaks “optometry.”

Tim provides Cleinman Performance Partners and our clients with comprehensive legal advice with respect to matters associated with corporate structure, acquisitions, mergers, succession plans, real estate, financing, wealth transfer, wealth preservation and taxation. He works closely with our Transaction team to ensure that clients are properly protected and achieve their goals.

Richard (Dick) Schultz

With hundreds of strategic thinking, planning, ideation and problem-solving sessions under his belt, Dick knows how to facilitate groups large and small. His clients include industries across the board: Healthcare, manufacturing, public education, religious and retail settings. And he’s brought the SolutionsMapping® process (often referred to as “Storyboarding for Solutions”) to facilitation sessions in Costa Rica, England, Germany, Kenya, Puerto Rico, Thailand and the U.S. Before his career as a facilitator, Dick served as Executive Director of a sizeable multi-children’s service agency in Pittsburgh.

Judith Lee

Facilitator

Judith brings writing and marketing talent to the table in her role as facilitator. Since the mid-1980s, Judith has worked as a freelance writer and marketing consultant through her company, Communication Works Now. Her focus since 2010 has been on social media, which offers an effective and affordable tool that “levels the playing field” for small business, healthcare professionals and non-profit groups. Judith shares her social media skills with her community, serving as Chair-elect and Communications Chair for the Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce, Communications Committee member for Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce and Social Media Chair for the Southern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce.

Lisa Dolezel

Lisa Dolezel is our resident consultant for optical business development and retail management. A self- described people junkie, Lisa demonstrates a passion for leveraging the human experience, while cultivating strong systems for organizational development.

Lisa is certified by Leadership Strategies as both a small and large group facilitator, and has been facilitating for Cleinman Performance Partners for approximately five years. Lisa and her team deliver custom consulting and analytic services so that you can successfully navigate everything from small incremental management changes to large complex business development plans.

Lisa joined team Cleinman in 2013. Today, she has just shy of 30 years of professional experience in everything from direct patient care, team building and development, healthcare management and business development.

Michelle

Michelle Sellers, B.S., LDO

Facilitator

Following years of experience in customer service, business management and academics, Michelle Sellers began a career in the ophthalmic industry. Today, Michelle supervises the efforts of a team of highly-skilled optometric assistants and opticians who provide unparalleled care to some 45,000 individuals annually in one of three clinical facilities. Her skill as a licensed dispensing optician is evident from the moment she begins to talk about the profession she loves.

David Sattler

Facilitator

Dave is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is currently serving as a volunteer board member for the American Academy of Optometry Foundation and the Southern College of Optometry. He is also serving as a board member for a group of independent optometrists in the DFW Metroplex who are affiliated under the name First Eye Care. In 2015, the Optometric Management trade journal recognized Dave as one of the top 50 most influential people who have made significant contributions to the profession of optometry.

Dave retired in 2014 from Alcon with a career spanning 29 years. Prior to that, he worked 4 years at Oscar Mayer Foods Corporation as a Sales Representative. He attended college at the University of Colorado for two years and then completed his BA degree in 1981 with an emphasis in marketing at Cal State Fullerton. Between college experiences, Dave was a professional ski instructor at Breckenridge, Colorado. Dave and his wife Denise reside in Colleyville, Texas. They have three grown daughters and 2 grandsons.

David Spisak

Facilitator

David brings a powerful blend of knowledge and leadership experience to his role as facilitator. During the last 25 years, David successfully held leadership roles in optometric, orthopedic, urologic and dental group practice operations. With innovative thinking and a proven management style, he delivers positive results across markets, diverse ownership and care teams. In addition to work in the healthcare industry, David is heavily involved in his community, serving as a board member and past president of the Newark Morning Rotary Club in Newark, Delaware, as well as 2015-2016 president-elect of the Research Triangle Park Rotary Club in North Carolina.

Jim Venable, OD, FCOVD

Facilitator

Dr. James E. (Jim) Venable, serves as Vice President for Clinical Programs at Southern College of Optometry (SCO) in Memphis, Tennessee. He is responsible for all budgeting, operations, clinical education and quality of care in the College’s six patient care facilities and programs. Jim has been active in intern and resident education throughout his career having held adjunct faculty status at Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University, Southern College of Optometry, The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, and The University of Houston College of Optometry.

A thirty-year member of the American Optometric Association, Jim has been active in organized optometry as past-chair of the Pediatric & Binocular Vision Committee of the AOA, a Fellow of the Tennessee Academy of Optometry (TAO), Past-President of the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians (TAOP), a member of the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry (ASCO), a past-chair of the ASCO Clinic Director / Administrators SIG, a past member of the ASCO Legislative Affairs Committee and a member of the Tennessee Independent Colleges & Universities Association (TICUA) Government Affairs Committee.

Michele Self, ABOC, FNAO

Facilitator

Owner of an optical consulting company, A Spectacular Gaze, LLC. Michele’s business involves, on-site training and Inventory Management for the private practice. She is an Optician/Supervisor/Optics Educator at the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Optometry. Retired after 20 years. In 2015 Michele was nominated by Vision Monday, as One of the 50 Most Influential Women in Optical, Mentor Category, women who are team builders and development of talent. In 2019, she was awarded Optician of the Year by National Academy of Opticianry. She has served on the board of the American Board of Opticianry 2014 thru 2019. Michele also served on the board of the National Academy of Opticianry from 2005 until 2019. She is an ABO approved speaker and is an Honored Fellow of the Optician’s Association of America.
