In high school, Alex discovered her love for planning conventions. She cut her event planning teeth working on a nationally-known horror fan convention, SCARE-A-CON. Her hard work continued, and she earned her degree in Communication and Business at the University of Albany. Her father owned radio stations most of her life and it was only fair for Alex’s first leading role to be as a producer for a nationally syndicated radio show. Radio required long hours, chasing people for deliverables, and thinking on her feet while under pressure.
“Until I joined Cleinman Performance Partners, I worked independently. But now I enjoy producing work in a collaborative environment” Her mother taught first grade and Alex loved helping her plan projects and fun activities for her students. As Senior Client Relationship Manager at Cleinman, her role is to work with the Consultants to identify objectives, drive the completion of goals, and to ensure quality service is provided to every member.

A search for harmony drives Scott, with hopes that “the entire race comes to live in harmony; where people of all walks of life will help each other; and greed basically becomes non-existent.” In the business world, he became a specialist in helping people find balance through financing real estate transactions, attending every loan closing personally and ensuring the personal satisfaction of his clients.
Scott joined Team Cleinman with expertise in customer relations and a desire to develop relationships with Network members. In a more literal sense of harmony, Scott loves the sound of music, first listening to it at a young age and then growing into a musician as an adult. Luckily, he’s found co-workers at Cleinman Performance Partners in tune with him, who are “like a family to me . . . I honestly feel like part of a team of people who care about me and each other, and definitely care about ‘why we do what we do.’”
He thinks Network members are pretty special, too: “It’s really amazing to me as I’ve worked with doctors before, and I’ve never felt this way. There is something about ODs … I can’t put my finger on it, but it definitely exists — especially with Cleinman doctors. No doubt about it: they’re the best!”
James recently returned to the US after receiving his master’s degree from Leiden University in the Netherlands. His ability to connect and understand people helps him excel as a member of our client development team. When he isn’t working with ODs, James is an avid traveler. Striving to see the world through the eyes of others, he loves to explore new places and immerse himself in their culture. “I believe nothing helps you grow more as an individual, than experiencing a new culture.” This ideal leads James’ thirst for knowledge, as he consistently learns and grows.
He enjoys having conversations with ODs as well. “I love engaging in conversations with eyecare professionals who eat, sleep, and breath eyecare. I learn something new from every conversation.” This philosophy helps James being new ideas to the table and truly understand the industry and connect with new and existing Network members.
