DALLAS, TEXAS — Dr. Steven R. Demko of Professional Eye Associates in Mt. Pocono received recognition for his continued commitment to professional development at a recent meeting of Cleinman Performance Network.

Dr. Demko — celebrating his fifth year in the Network — demonstrates a dedication to creating a healthy and beneficial work environment, as well as to maintaining a high level of patient care and satisfaction.

As a member of Cleinman Performance Network, a wisdom-sharing group of peer optometrists from across North America, Dr. Demko provides valuable knowledge that highlights and contributes to the best practices in vision care and eye health.

Dr. Demko obtained his bachelor’s degree from Wiles University and his doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He has practiced in the Poconos for more than 20 years, and is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases, macular degeneration, glaucoma and neurological deficits.

He is active in many community organization and charities. He is an avid reader, Apple enthusiast and enjoys landscaping and gardening.

Professional Eye Associates offers comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, as well as care for eye emergencies and treatment for a range of conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, dry eye, cataracts, low vision and computer vision syndrome.
