DALLAS, TEXAS — Dr. Robert C. Layman of Pinnacle Eye Group in Lambertville, Mich., received recognition for his continued commitment to professional development at a recent meeting of Cleinman Performance Network.
Dr. Layman — celebrating his 10th year in the Network — demonstrates a dedication to creating a healthy and beneficial work environment, as well as to maintaining a high level of patient care and satisfaction.
As a member of Cleinman Performance Network, a wisdom-sharing group of peer optometrists from across North America, Dr. Layman provides valuable knowledge that highlights and contributes to the best practices in vision care and eye health.
Dr. Layman graduated from the University of Toledo and The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He was named 2006 American Optometric Association Optometrist of the Year, and the Ohio Optometric Association honored him with it Outstanding Senior Student Award in 1982, the Young Optometrist of the Year Award in 1987 and the Optometrist of the Year Award in 2005. He is a past president of the Toledo Area Optometric Society and the Ohio Optometric Association.
In his spare time, Dr. Layman volunteers as Assistant Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 87 and on the Francis Family YMCA Board of Managers. He is married with four children.
