CHICAGO, IL — Dr. Andrew Sacco of Sacco Eye Group in Vestal, NY, received recognition for his continued commitment to professional development at a recent meeting of Cleinman Performance Network.

Dr. Sacco — celebrating his 10th year in the Network — demonstrates a dedication to creating a healthy work environment, as well as to maintaining a high level of patient care and satisfaction.

As a member of Cleinman Performance Network, a wisdom-sharing group of peer optometrists from across North America, Dr. Sacco provides valuable knowledge that highlights and contributes to the best practices in vision care and eye health.

Dr. Sacco joined the practice in 1991 after graduating from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and completing a one-year residency in ocular disease at the Eye Institute and Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. He is a Fellow in the Academy of Optometry and a past president of the New York State Optometric Association. His interests in optometry include solution-cornea-lens interactions in contact wearers, glaucoma and neurological disease of the visual system.

Dr. Sacco is married to wife, Staci, and they have three children. In addition to his work in optometry industry, Dr. Sacco enjoys fly fishing, bird hunting with his Labrador Retrievers, playing soccer, taking photos and cheering on the New York Giants.

Sacco Eye Group offers complete eye exams, contact lens fittings, and treatment for a variety of medical eye care conditions.
