Cleinman Performance Partners, the originator and gold standard in benchmarking for the optometric industry, premiered their latest version at February’s Cleinman Performance Network meeting in Dallas.
The enhanced features of Cleinman Performance Partners Benchmarking 3.0 provide members a user-friendly data collection and ratio generation system on mobile devices and tablets. A crisp, new “data dashboard” helps monitor your most important operational drivers.
The system not only shows your practice performance over time, but also allows you to track significant changes to help you identify the cause of trends in your data. With the use of this powerful, agile tool, you can pinpoint what decision led to a specific outcome.
Director of Client Solutions Amanda VanVoris says Cleinman Performance Network members have started inputting significant practice events (such as “Hired an Associate OD” or “Added an Optician”) into the trend-line area.
Members are encouraged to revisit the last year or so to add their own significant practice events to their trend-line history.
“Matching significant events against changes in practice performance brings the data alive for many doctors,” VanVoris explains. “Over time, we can see a direct correlation between management choices and key metrics. Our enhanced benchmarking is designed to empower practice owners as decision makers and leaders.”
Within the confidential setting of Network meetings, benchmarking is utilized as a diagnostic tool in determining the health of a practice. Members utilize the data to develop case studies on their peers. According to VanVoris, “This approach helps every OD develop a mastery of the data and ratios and enhances the wisdom-sharing component of the Network.”
